SEPA is an association of amateur and professional painters who paint together regularly outdoors in S.E. Ireland. All artists are welcome. SEPA organises Ireland's 'Art in the Open' plein air festival. SEPA membership is free. NB. As with all Paint-Outs posted on Plein Eire, these events are simply notifications of intent by one individual to be at a particular place and time to paint. Each member's participation is entirely at his/her own risk. No responsibility for harm or loss of person or property on the part of anyone else is intended or implied.

Here are a few ideas for paint-out venues. Please add your own suggestions and we'll get a schedule together for the coming weeks. Your addfitional recommendations welcome.

As ever, it is weather permitting, so in case the organiser needs to cancel, please indicate by RSVP for each event so a single message will let everyone know if an event is 'On' or 'Off'.

In particular, it seems smaller villages where we have access to coffee and a bite and a chance to say'hello' are sought-after venues. Here are some suggestions:

I have no problem posting one but it probably makes more sense for someone who will actually be there to choose. I hope to be out with ye again after that!

There was a forge and farrier shoeing horses and a few vintage traction engines along with stalls, a couple of rides and a dog show. By all means, post an event, Louise. Let's share the load.

Comment by Kevin Freeney on July 19, 2018 at 9:49: Will there be different classes of steam? Presumably there will be different trials depending on the steam. Can one just show up and casually let off steam? What about condensation in the marquees? Will there be a problem with mould?

This year's Steam Rally in Tagoat takes place on Saturday 18th of August!!!
