Event Description

Tom King and Jane Meyler will be hosting a paint out on Thurs 29th July from 10am at Johnstown Castle just 10 minutes drive S.E. of Wexford. The 19th century castle is set in 50 acres of ornamental grounds with lakes, Gothic towers, waterfall, walled garden, sunken Italian garden and hothouses, so lots of opportunity to do some great work. All facilities are available with places to paint if the weather is bad.
Entrance to the grounds is €6 per car. With Johnstown management unwilling to waive it, our tip is to car-share where possible. There is plenty of safe parking at nearby Piercestown school, if you were to arrange to pool from there.
Meet at Johnstown Car Park around 10am.
