Event Description

In case we all get snowed in, over the next few days, I thought we could keep our third Nocturne in mind. Next Thursday night, from whenever it gets dark...wherever you are. A "pastoral scene" was suggested for this one ( by the light of the moon), which will be easier if you live out of town. Keep an eye on this page for a possible meet-up venue, if the weather improves.... Good luck everyone!!

Comment by Karen Scannell on December 1, 2010 at 20:40: Hi Nora.....maybe if your easel's outside..and your kitchen window's open!! Well, if you paint in your garden, the plus side is that you can have numerous hot water bottles to hand, and you could always dash in and out to defrost!
What temperature is it in your "neck of the woods"?

Well done to all of you so far but I just couldnt make myself stand in that cold all last week for even 10 mins and today in Meath we are well and truly snowed in - does painting from an outdoor scene in the garden from the kitchen window count as "plein air" ......... :)
