I’m sure you’re all raring to go again after the Easter break. So what about next Saturday, 14th April, in Clogherhead.
Clogherhead is/was a little fishing village north of Drogheda. For painting there are still some nice little rows of cottages, beach, thatched houses, rocks, pier and trawlers and cliffs with beautiful views for the more athletic.
To get to Clogherhead from M1 –
You should now be on the main road to Clogherhead via Termonfechin.
To get to Clogherhead via Slane –
Take Slane /Drogheda road as far as roundabout for M1
Follow directions 2 - 6
To get to Clogherhead from any other direction –
You probably know the way but if you don’t phone me.
When you get to Clogherhead you will see a sign for ‘Fresh Fish for Sale’ and brown finger posts for Tra and for Little Strand Restaurant. This is Strand Street (a.k.a. Crooked Street). We will meet at 11 a.m. for coffee in the first thatched cottage on your left on Strand Street.
If you have any difficulties phone me at 086 80501777. Hope to see you there.
