inspiration from the experience, countdown is beginning now trying to pack, which is a real ordeal for this "in case" person, who usually almost brings the kitchen sink. However I have made a nice light setup for the trip,ill post pics as soon as i get the chance!!!!

Among the top names on show is our own lovely Lori Putnam from Nashville, TN, who many will have had the pleasure of meeting at Art in the Open in Wexford in August.

Comment by Lori Putnam on September 5, 2011 at 13:46: Yes. The $750 covers the costs for all the demos, lectures, and stuff... like a 4-day workshop fee. They provide buses to take you out to places to paint and things. I'm quite amazed to be on the faculty. I mean Clyde Aspevig WOW!!!!!

Comment by Louise Treacy on September 3, 2011 at 14:14: I was looking at this convention a couple of weeks ago , and while the air fare to Las Vegas from Ireland is quite reasonable if booked at the moment , the registration fee for the 4 day convention is 750 dollars!!!! which doesn't include room or board!!! Plus the Red Rock Resort is quite pricey compared with some of the other resorts within 30 miles or so, so unless I win the lotto I probably wont make it. I see you are faculty there for the 4 four da<ys Lori CONGRATS!!!
