Gaeltacht thair tir Chona - PORTNOO

The paint out on Saturday, 22 June 2024, is at Portnoo. We will be meeting at 10am in The Waterfront hotel (F94 W974) on Mill Road in Dungloe on R259 and make our way from there. Portnoo has a small pier with a walking path along the beach which is frequented by swimmers and water sports enthusiasts. You can see across the way to the ruins on Inishkeel. Earlier on off the N56 there is also a viewing point that looks down the bay towards Portnoo.  

It is June so weekends can be expected to be busier with kids off schools and tourists exploring the land. It is getting warmer yet we know there is no guarantee so bring everything you might need from layers to add on or take off as needed, rain gear so you do not miss it when you need it, sunscreen, a hat, a light lunch, drink of your choosing, chair and of course your art materials or whatever you want to spend your time doing. All are welcome to come along in body - and mind.
