Gaeltacht thair tir Chona - An Port

The paint out on Saturday, 17 May is An Port (west of Ardara), a wee pier with views of the coastline along the Atlantic as well as ruins of a village (for some information have a look at https://www.welovedonegal.com/an-port.html ). We will be meeting at Charlie’s West End Cafe at 10am – the café is on the Main Street in Ardara, across the road from the church at the edge of the town. Just to share, An Port is about 25km from Ardara so it will be a wee scenic trip to get there - or to meet you there, whatever is easiest for you!

May has been gifting a real summer feel yet coastlines are windy so be ready to have some protection from the wind and the sun. Bring a chair, art supplies and whatever you need to be comfy for the day including hats and sunshields, sun screen, water bottles, wraps, rain gear - just in case - and let’s not forget a snack or light lunch as there is nothing much around there. All are welcome to come along in body - and mind.💟
