Crohy head - GAELTACHT THIAR THIR CHONAILL

The paintout this Saturday, 1 March 2025, is Crohy head (viewing point) south of Dungloe town up into the hills and along the cliffs with views across to Dooey beach and Portnoo. We will be meeting around 10am in The Waterfront hotel (F94 W974) on Mill Road in Dungloe and make our way from there. 

It is March, so definitely spring yet still more in theory than reality with yellow blossoms only lightly dotted around in gorse and daffodils… So make sure to bring what you need to stay warm and comfy for the day including hats and gloves, hot water bottles, wraps, rain gear is never amiss and let’s not forget a snack or light lunch, hot or cold drink, chair and - your art materials or whatever you want to spend your time with. And it is always good to have a sketch pad with you, you never know when you might need it. All are welcome to come along in body - and mind.
