Thanks Svetlana. I enjoyed doing this one. The group of figures on the left-hand side are the famine memorial sculptures.
Wonderful, John.
Thanks for comments Deirdre and Tony. A more regular weekly outing is making the difference I think!
Lovely and loose john.
Must be full of vim after your cycling tour, John. Its coming out here. Like it a lot.
Thanks Norah. The Autumn colours and low light create their own emotion at this time. Very enticing for the watercolour washes. Just hope the weather stays watercolour friendly a bit longer.
Beautiful watercolours from a great weekend for you John
Thanks Deirdre. I tackled the gate-lodge house and surrounding buildings yesterday in the Iveagh Gardens and learnt from that, that a looser approach with broader strokes of wash might yield better results, so I tried that approach today! Have to remember this next time I'm surounded by buildings!
This is just lovely John, your buildings are beautifully understated!
Thanks Pat. I will get along to the PEBV paint-outs soon. Just too much coinciding with the dates so far, but I see you have been to some great locations. I met Dee exhibiting on Merrion Sq today while on my way to the Custom House and promised I would meet up soon.
