Hey, Yes yes yes, We all know Frank is good and of course he won a

prize. But I was there to representing BVPE. And guess what? I painted

with my eyes closed the WHOLE time.

Frank, its great news. There was nothing as yet on the website, so its lovely to hear your news. My favourite is still your motorbike painting!

Frank, very well done and thank you for letting us see your paintings. I had a look at the site each evening hoping for news but none. Really delighted. With your history at Wexford they'll have to give you a handicap for the next competition - to give the others a chance!

Thank you all for lovely comments. My Garage painting won the Bronze prize. There were three, Gold, Silver and Bronze plus seven or eight other prizes. My painting features the semi derelict filling station which is on the right as you leave Enniscorthy for Dublin. I spent about eight hours on it! Who says plein air is fast?? I think the bike one is my favorite and hope I get to keep it! I only did four days this year as opposed to the full week last year and I think that is the way to do it as I was spent halfway through the week. I did miss my BVPA buddies though and we will have to do a contingent next year if we can!?

My favourite is the bike as well-your own bike? Would love to know how you did at the Festival.

Great work Frank - love that bike one ! what did you win this time ? will have to do some googling as I know you are too modest to tell us !
