Event Description

On the doorstep to Wexford Town, Forth Mountain can't claim huge height, but it still impresses with some wonderful views, and an untamed wilderness.

Directions (thanks to Michael) :-

Take the Duncannon Road exit (R733) at the Duncannon Road Roundabout (Beside the Whitford Hotel). Proceed West for about three miles. Watch out for a fairly large sign indicating a left turn for Murntown. When you get to the junction, don't turn for Murntown, instead take a right turn up the hill (beware of some serious potholes after about a half mile!). After about a mile you will start to go downhill. Watch out for some large rock outcrops on your right. One of these, a couple of hundred yards back from the road has a white cross on top of it. Stop at the parking area just below this rock - this is our meeting point.
