The cost will be  € 45 euro/ day, full board. The nearest airport is Berlin

We had a great experience during this Event 2014. This is a wonderful opportunity to paint in the old, East part of Germany, and immerse yourself in paint :) . Places are still available, if you would like to join us let us know.

Wow, that will really help - thanks Marko ! I'll get back to you with info on panels and payment of fee asap :)

That's fantastic Marko, I will look up their website and look at the sizes and types of panels they have.
I will do the fee probably to altymenhaus,I will let you know which ok
Thanks for all the information Marko it will be quick to come around to ma 26th the time is flying by.

Hi Marko,

Can you confirm please, in case I've misunderstood, that I can pay €50 directly to Althymen via IBAN bank transfer before 25th April, and then only have to pay the balance when I come to Germany. The only reason I'm asking is that the second option of paying the full €280 before 9th May sounds a bit inconsistent with this.

Michael

dear michael - it is how you want to do it - you can pay the rest when staying in altthymen - the 50 € are important for the preparations - kitchen and so one - the 2nd option was for avoiding to many fees by paying 2 times via banking maybe - at the moment we are creating a 10 sided flyer, a poster and website for pleinair brandenburg - we are very busy - greetings marko

Thanks Marko. I'll do that then. Sounds like you're putting a lot of effort into this - really looking forward to it.

Hi Mako, I was checking out the link about the panels and sizes. Most of us will be used to working on a particular ground, so I presume you need the type of panel and size ?

dear karen - i tried a gessogrounded small promotion panel and it is really good - it has a nice contact between brush and ground - you can leave good brushmarks and a good chiaroscuro and shadows - i will travel to hamburg in a while and check and sort the sponsored material

Thanks Marko. I will probably bring some of my own boards anyway, but would be grateful of "sponsored extras", just in case...

Thanks a million Marko.

I have looked up the Ampersand website and even though I will bring some of my own panels with me for oils and Arches paper for watercolour I would love to try some of the Gessoboard Flat 1/8"   12x 16 panels for oils,,,, and  the Clayboard Flat 1/8'"  8x10  &  12x 16 for ink and watercolour, I have never tried the Clayboard so that would be a good experiment for ink which I love.

If any of these are not possible to get, that is fine Marko, because I will bring enough stuff with me so I am not stuck.

Thanks a million Marko and Nikolai.

he you all out there - here is the final flyer - now we are creating - i think it is more nikolai creating the poster - nikolai created this flyer - he is really the best man in town - i am so happy and grateful
