I stumbled across this site today & found your painting interesting,,couldn't wait to see the finished painting!  I also wondered about the shades interferring w/the colors.  Great job!

Over here the sun is out all the time....I could not  imagine not wearing them. I make sure the glasses have a brown tint as compared to some glasses have a theo green/blue tint.....those are trouble! You come out with these paintings with green and blue everywhere. I 've been painting with sunglasses for years....so I guess I am used to it....I do like to take them off towards the end of the painting to double check, fine tune, etc.

We know a guy over here who has been known to paint wearing shades. How does it affect your colour perception, John?
