Congratulations on your one-person show!! I know it'll go well for you. You certainly worked hard enough while you were over here.Maybe send us a couple of shots of your opening night..on a blog maybe??
Thanks for asking, David. Had a great crowd on opening night and sold a couple of paintings too. Just sold two more since then (but at least they were large pieces). Things have gone really slow here and all artists are being hit hard.
Thanks David. There was this huge bull under the tree when I started that one, but he went down to the lower half of the field after a few minutes. So I had to settle for the cows!
Hi David, thanks! My time at the 2010 was brief. I could only stay for a day and a half. I hope I meet you there next year. If ever in Boston, give me a shout! I moved to Boston twenty years ago. From County Cork originally. Good to hear from you! Vin.
Hadent thought of it that way. yes it is a studio piece, studio being the garage. It is a piece questioning which way up a painting should be hung, plus a question on my own state of being.
Hope the image comes through this time, David. Please let me know when you receive the frames and paintings and how you get on with the presentation. Your stolen painting was retrieved but not without damage to the original frame so I have replaced it with the nearest I had to that pattern - not quite as good I'm afraid. I had to replace Paul's as well. - With apologies.
Thank you David.
Our weather is still holding up and we had a lovely day at Newbay House / woods on Sunday, a bit like down by the Mill in Enniscorthy during the Festival but even more covered in [without the rain ! ]
Both...It was renewed about 12 years ago. A storm on Christmas eve blew a section of it off..so I guess I've been very wary since..not good to be hanging from a roof in gales!!
Hey David...it was such a pleasure to meet and hangout with yourself and Ardis! I can honestly say it's been an age since I'd so much fun and laugh...just buzzing with people with the same passion is the best! It's great we can all keep in touch thru the site....we're always on for a good challenge...especially coming into the winter! Karen'll have her thinking cap on.... so be prepared!!! Say 'Hi' to Ardis! Do you remember any of the 'cupla fucal' that I thought you!?! Lol!
