I haven't done the cill riallaig residency, but am planning on going next summer if possible. I was there with my art teacher Catherine Elliott in 2008 when I was 17 to plein air paint for a week. We stayed on Valentia, where coincidentally my great great grandmother was born. Your art is fantastic by the way....simply stunning!

Regarding my own sunset panel, perhaps because it was so rushed, or because I started to change it halfway through, but it falls into that category of painting that looks to me as if somebody else did it. Its a cuckoo and it becomes a kind of curiosity for that alone. Do you ever get those?
