Tony Robinson Portrait Workshop at The Swallowsnest Studio 2/2/13

Another fabulous day at the "Nest"... A full studio for Tony's workshop, made for a great atmosphere. Judging by the feedback and the standard of work produced, I think it's fair to say that everyone enjoyed the day...

A huge thank you to Tony, who gave a really informative and inspiring Workshop, to those who attended, and of course not forgetting our excellent models for the day, Brid Colleton and James Maloney.

Thanks to Karen and the Swalllowsnest for providing a pleasant day for everyone. Thanks to Margaret for the reviving soup, to go with the supplies of apple tart, home-made bread, brack and biscuits. Its a wonder we got any work done at all.

Now for some plein air painting...
Here's an oil sketch of Jimmy Maloney who kindly sat for us along with Brid. (Thanks to both)
