I suppose we do look a bit glum. But that was because Norah was not in the picture. She was taking it. We had what you might call a civic reception in Trim. Noel French, President Trim Chamber of Commerce and Cllr. James O'Shea, Leas Cathaoirleach of the town council welcomed us and gave us a broad history of the town of Trim. They generously offered us exhibition space in the future.
We had a quick discussion of our upcoming exhibition in Bru na Boinne Visitor Centre, 18th May to 16th June. By the time all that was done the clouds were rolling in. However, we were not intimidated and took up painting positions. But nature got the better of us and we had to abandon our paint-out. Many thanks to Pat The Painter Holton who had compiled a long list of suitable painting sites. Hold on to that list Pat we will use it again!
I do believe though that this was a record day. I think it was the first time the weather got the better of us.

Great photo, Norah, with the classic pyramid composition, and wonderful definition. Note to self - avoid all photos in future due to lack of emuberance
Brillant Photo Sally. I cant understand how glum I was, also, as you mention with your usual persicascity.
Proper order PEVB getting red carpet treatment. About time, too, for all your effort and infectious enthusiasm. Good luck with the show.
Mind you, if were this serious before the rain, you must've been mad as hell afterwards?
