I haven't been doing any plein air paintings, but have been painting studio miniatures

Last of Its Kind

6"x6" oil on linen panel

I haven't done much plein air painting since getting home from Maine. I did paint some while at the beach in early October, but not a great deal. So, I have been working on some miniature oils which I will be offering in a local gallery for the holidays. I have some landscapes and several paintings of dogs. I'll post one of so of those.

This painting is of a slice of Americana. Probably built in the 1950's or '60's, it is an arcade area, with putt-putt golf, and I think other games. It wasn't open when I was in the area, but I loved the quirkiness of the wild colors. I was photographing older beach cottage type places which were a little eccentric. They have been fun!

Ahh, I think I wrote in a way too big font. So sorry if I am blasting anyone's eyes!
