Kevin had asked me to post my painting, "Borrowed Memories". It is not a plein air piece, so I am posting it here. It is a triptych, done on three canvases, each 42"x30", then bolted together. I did it from memories of childhood trips up north to the Boundary Waters area of northern Minnesota where my mother was from. We would canoe on the lakes, and I would hear stories of the French Canadian (only a few miles from Canada) voyaguers who hunted, trapped and explored that area. I hope I am getting this right so that the image comes up.
