I got so caught up in trying to work out if all the inlets were right that I began to lose the will to finish this. The sea around Ballyconneely is a beautiful blue green and then I started mulling over colour harmony etc - the agonies of painting plein air ? comment and critique welcome

Thank you John, Dee and Sean - I think it needs softening in places as the forefround seems a bit harsh and there was an upturned currach at the front too but then I got lost with the changing sky which started out blue and quickly clouded over - great Irish weather

Love the strong meander of the water leading to the boreen? that leads to the house.  Great painting, Norah.

Hi Norah I think it's really lovely - you know I'd like to, but I can't find anything 'critiqual' to say about it - it's simply very good! John
