Happy New Year Tony, Thanks for your comments. The colours are surprising in winter, I was working on a plein air pastel yesterday and was amazed to see yellows, purples and beautiful red ochres.

Happy New Year Laura, Thanks for your comments. It is a beautiful place to live especially when the weather is as it has been over Christmas. I sat painting on the roof in warm sunshine yesterday and hope to finish the pastel today and post it.
