Karen - Getting to know you was one of the highlights. I do hope that our friendship continues.
Matthew
Mathew, thanks for everything. You put 110% into everything we asked of you...and then some. Top quality painting from a top quality artist (and friend)...
Good to hear from you Tony (and Sally). Thanks for the kind comments about this watercolor and also for your warm hospitality during AITO 2012. It was a wonderful experience all around. I returned to the US with many great memories and new friends. I suppose it is now time for you and the AITO committee to get some well-deserved rest. Your group planned a magnificent event. One of the greatest compliments on event planning was paid to me by a participant on our Arts Sojourn Italy painting trip this year. He said "You must have worked very hard to make it seem so easy." This fellow really understood. I really do appreciate all of the effort that your group put in. I look forward to seeing you again.
Hi Matthew.
It was great to meet you during Art in the Open festival. I'd have liked to have chatted longer.
I think we'll have to re-name the event; 'So many artists, so little time'.
This watercolour made after your workshop at Hook Head is a gem. Congratulations and thanks for your contribution to the public Critique Session and to the festival generally. We'll look out for more postings in the future and news of next year's Arts Sojourn programme.
Kind regards.
wonderful atmospheric painting. That wall does need a bit of sun to dry it out.
