An ancient Beech Tree

I was told by many whi stopped for a chat that this tree is at least 200 years old, I also heard lots of stories about children growing up here and the place is full of memories for so many families who are lucky to live close the the beutiful St.Catherine's Park between Leixlip and Lucan, oil on board, 12 x 10 which should have been finished in 2 hours but took 3 with all the chat ! C and C wellcome

A really good rendition of autumn colours. I really like the composition.

Some acknowledgement of your discovered "back story" by including some figure(s) might have added an extra focal narrative to the piece.
