Thanks Maureen. Glad to know you are back safe and sound from New Zealand. I did another couple so averaged 2 a day and in the evenings we did portraits/ still lifes. Boot camp, eh? The main difference doing these at a festival is you are inclined to try to finish them and make a painting of it, whereas at home I tend to leave it alone earlier and not finish them, so for me, its probably a good discipline. On the other hand, it is inclined to make you turn to the touches of bright colour and little details and choose your subjects for their charm. That is why Rene Plein Air and some others don't much like them.
