SEPA Paint Out: Newtownbarry House & Gardens

The grounds of Newtownbarry House, Bunclody is the venue for this paint out. Clody and Alice Norton have kindly invited us to avail of the grounds, including a marvelous sunken garden, rose garden, lake, specimen trees etc. on this particular day, all beneath a backdrop of the Blackstairs Mountains. There is also Bunclody village itself for those who wish to paint there, just 5 minutes walk away.
We may also use the studio toilets and there is a common room with kettle for making our own tea/coffee and where the day's work can be reviewed if anyone wants to take part.
Newtownbarry House also has a summer exhibition and runs a series of excellent art courses this year.
Turn at the Angler's Rest in the village to cross the river over a stone bridge. The electric gates of the house are just across the bridge, on the left. If they are not open in the morning, there is an alternative entrance further down the road or ring 086 2372470.
