Event Description

Brushes to the ready, for next Saturdays paint out .To be held in the beautiful town of Delvin, in the east west meath.The surrounding hinterlands boasts many Castles including Delvin Castle, Clonyn Castle [16 Th century] , Ballinlough Castle [ late 15Th century ] , Nugent Castle [ 1181] , and many ancient monastic settlement ruins.They possess stunning views over rich pastures and have many historical sites.The early first settlers there are mentioned in the Book of Armagh. Later on during the famine period in 1845, the remains of a famine graveyard are there to be seen today.So guys......there is something there for everyone.Norah is kindly meeting us there to bring us to one of her favorite spots to the paint.A local bog land.
