It's that time of year again, and Sweet Donegal is calling on all you artist to capture its essence  in it's full glory. You have multiple choices of scenery to whet you painting appetite....between bogs, mountains, lakes, miles of golden beaches, harbours, deserted villages, waterfalls, boats, currachs, sand dunes, white washed cottages, stone walls, etc etc..

We've struck up a deal at 65 € per person, for B&B plus and inc  4 course evening dinner. Great value you might agree.

Nora has kindly organised a private trip around the grounds  of the Guinness 'es estate Dunlewey....for anyone who's interested.We got permission to paint there  last year you might remember, and there was plenty of subject matter on hand plus plenty of coverage in old sheds  if it rains..

Bring your usual art paraphernalia  plus boots in case  you are crossing bogs, umbrella  in case of rain,  sun tan lotion in case of sunshine lol . And midge spray ....we find the avon brand the best.

Places are filling fast ,  so to be sure of your reservation in the Hotel.  its recommended to book early under"  the plein air painters "  as it s the surfing season the whole month of August.

Anyone driving a camper are more than welcome to park up in our field.( Min an Clagaigh )
