Event Description

Dr. Sketchy's is a life drawing class turned cabaret extravaganza. Artists draw glamorous underground performers, compete in contests, and win booze and prizes. Founded in 2005 by artist Molly Crabapple, from its humble Brooklyn beginnings, it has spread to 100 cities on five continents- including London, Rome, Tokyo, Paris, Sao Paulo and Melbourne.

Now we are proud to present, Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School Dublin branch in association with Sedition Industries! Dr. Sketchy's Dublin will feature the fabulous Sedettes and other gorgeous, talented and edgy models to inspire and incite!

Dr. Sketchy's Dublin will take place on the last Saturday of every month at The Twisted Pepper from 3pm to 6pm.

Please bring along sketch pads and DRY media only, pens, pencils, pastels etc.
Admission is €15/ Students €10 with valid ID
Over 18s Only

It's Halloween weekend and who does Halloween better than the Sedettes!!

We've brought you the undead, the candy-floss sweet and 80s Hair Metal, amongst other themes, but now we bring you the biggest and best Dr. Sketchy's Dublin Session yet - A Tribute to Tim Burton!!

Using imagery inspired by Burton, we'll be drawing from the likes of The Corpse Bride, Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice (we may skip over Alice in Wonderland and Charlie & The Chocolate Factory :-/)

With performances, including the Demon Barber of Fleet Street... we will have special prizes for attendees who come along in costume!

Sorry to take so long in replying Catriona, hope you are well and I definitely want to go to this but I can't make it as we are away at a wedding - all corpse brides and grooms eventually I suppose. Damn it I'll make the next one.

I have your picture safe let me know next time you are going to sunday sketching or rathmines and I can hand it over or you are very welcome to collect it should you be out near firhouse. But there is no rush on you.

All the best,
James
