At the instigation of my paint-out organising mentor Dee I would like to announce that the next BVPE, outing is to

The Ramparts, Athlumney Road, Navan. This is a popular amenity spot on the river Boyne. There is lots to paint so don't miss out and all you have to bring is your wonderfull painters eye.

Oh and some paint, brushes, canvas, easal, turps, oil, rags & refreshments of course

Comment by Norah Blount on March 26, 2012 at 21:39: Are there 2 events on sat? cant make it this sat either but hopefully free for a few weekends after that - have a great day in Navan, some great river scenes at the ramparts but the best are a bit of a walk, you can also drive to the next bridge down and park there but its a dreadful bumpy little road off the navan-slane road but good old canal bridges there too !
