Lori Putnam is an award-winning artist whose workshops and courses are much in demand. A member of many respected organizations including the Salmagundi Club in New York City, the Oil Painters of America, and the American Impressionists Society, she has appeared in articles in Plein Air Magazine and was recently invited to teach at The first Plein Air Convention in Las Vegas. Based in Tennesee, Lori travels throughout the USA and to Europe for juried festivals and to give plein air painting courses. At Art in the Open 2011 she was again an award-winner. Delivered with southern charm, her helpful advice includes difficult plein air problems such as how to simplify a complex subject and how to deal with crowd scenes, cluttered markets, jumbled rooftops while retaining the energy and feel of the scene.Lori's Website
