Plein Eire

Your Site For Artists Who Paint Outdoors

On Friday's Culture Night, (23rd September) among several events taking place in Wexford, Plein Eire's  Kevin Freeney, Paul Maloney and Tony Robinson took part in a 'live' portrait painting session from 5.30 until 7.15pm in Spectrum Art Shop while onlookers could walk through, chat or pop back to see the progress.

Model for the evening was Wexford Rose, Mary Kehoe who kindly agreed to provide the inspiration for the trio.

Meanwhile, just around the corner in Wexford Library, 'Artists in the Open' a photographic competition inspired by the recent plein air painting festival was opening.
