A 'Paint-Out' can be arranged by anyone. Even an impromptu session can be posted here if the weather is promising and you have an afternoon or a morning to spare. We try to meet regularly. Just decide on a time and a suitable venue and post a notice on the group page and 'Events'.
Time and location to be posted in advance both on "Plein Eire Dublin" and "Events" pages on this Plein Eire site.
RSVP on 'Events' for notice to be sent to you in the event of any change in plans or check this Plein Eire Dublin Group page on the morning of a paint-out .
Members may also propose paint-outs at other times as suits them and ask for other members who may be available to join them.

I hope James had some company yesterday. Good to see some activity here after a long hiatus. Don't miss today's harbour paint-out, open to all artists, (Saturday 13th May) with members of Dublin Painters and Sketchers. Perhaps a few can set up a rota to propose a weekly paint-out in Dublin? There will also be a painting demonstration on ‘marine painting’ on Saturday 20th May. In addition, an artist at work on a painting, daily during the exhibition, painting critique sessions for amateur artists and exhibition guided tours. Whyte’s will be offering a painting valuation session during the club exhibition.
I'm heading to Killiney Quarry on Killiney Hill at 12.30 today 12th May to do a watercolour of the steps area for a couple of hours if anyone is around.
I don't have a smart phone but mobile is 0860757222
I won't get out for the next month as we have our son coming home from Australia Patsy but I am sure either pebv or dublin group will post an event here. I find it always better to check the events page around wed or thursday.
Imma is a great location as we met there a few years ago, any preferences for which day ? Probably too early yet to get a decent weather forecast for next week
This Saturday we are going to the National Gallery, meeting in the cafe at 11.00am. Architecture, sculptures and people watching. Dry media only. Please come.
When are you proposing?
The availability of nearby parking is an absolute must for me.
What about the Royal Hospital Kilmainham IMMA? There's bound to be something on, there's loads of parking, a cafe, and if weather permits we can paint in the courtyard or the garden. If the weather defeats us we can draw down in the arched basement area.
The Jameson Distillery in Smithfield looks like an option, not sure if there are indoor opportunities to sketch but I will check it out
