A 'Paint-Out' can be arranged by anyone. Even an impromptu session can be posted here if the weather is promising and you have an afternoon or a morning to spare. We try to meet regularly. Just decide on a time and a suitable venue and post a notice on the group page and 'Events'.
Time and location to be posted in advance both on "Plein Eire Dublin" and "Events" pages on this Plein Eire site.
RSVP on 'Events' for notice to be sent to you in the event of any change in plans or check this Plein Eire Dublin Group page on the morning of a paint-out .
Members may also propose paint-outs at other times as suits them and ask for other members who may be available to join them.

Hi all,
As mentioned before, we'll go the Farmleigh in Phoenix Park for December's First-Sat (Dec 1, next Sat) Paint Out. Meet in cafe around 11. I gather Christmas activities are picking up there, but there is the expanse of he Phoenix Park if you want to get away from all that!.
Look forward to seeing you there. - Best - JOHN O FLYNN

John, Many thanks for organising such a great day in Islandbridge. The picnic before and after was brilliant. I look forward to Farmleigh next month. See you then.

John, travelling South to bootcamp with Paul Maloney on Dec 1. Really unfortunate as I love Farmleigh and its surrounds - so good to get the buzz of Dublin again. Will catch up on the next one one Jan 5th
Regards
Geraldine
Geraldine,
Coffee/tea & croissants/biscuits are indispensible for Plein Eire (sic) (especially in Eire!) painting: both to steel yourself beforehand and aid recovery afterwards! Hope to meet you next time - Farmleigh etc a bit less challenging than Islandbridge!

Cannot believe I missed the coffee and crossies - and I was starving! I really enjoyed Islandbridge and hope to meet up with you all again
Hi y'awl!
Great day at Islandbridge last Sat, Nov3: 14 attended! As there is no coffee shop nearby I brought camping stove and some snacks! Worked well as it was a sunny day -don't think we should chance our luck again over next few months (tho last string of Saturdays have been bright, sunny & dry).
For the next First-Sat Paint-Outs I am suggesting Farmleigh for Sat Dec 1 & back to our regular New Year's venue Botanic Gdns-Glasnevin for Sat Jan 5: both venues sheltered if the weather does its worst, and with cafes to warm up in before & after! Any other suggestions?
Happy Painting!

Great day painting at the War Memorial Gardens, great weather, great company...plus coffee and croissants...what more does a body need?! Thanks John,
Sam
John,
The War Memorial Gardens was a great location. Thank you. I especially liked the river bank with all the rowing teams doing their thing. Sorry I missed out on the croissants and muffins. Thanks again
