A 'Paint-Out' can be arranged by anyone. Even an impromptu session can be posted here if the weather is promising and you have an afternoon or a morning to spare. We try to meet regularly. Just decide on a time and a suitable venue and post a notice on the group page and 'Events'.
Time and location to be posted in advance both on "Plein Eire Dublin" and "Events" pages on this Plein Eire site.
RSVP on 'Events' for notice to be sent to you in the event of any change in plans or check this Plein Eire Dublin Group page on the morning of a paint-out .
Members may also propose paint-outs at other times as suits them and ask for other members who may be available to join them.

Many thanks John. Great location. Sorry I couldn't stay all day and see all the finished master-pieces.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrr. That was cold! There was frost on the ground in the carpark. But I enjoyed it - need to tidy the painting up a bit as it got a bit rubbed in the car. Will maybe post it later.
Same here Valerie!! Looks like it will be dry tho!!
I hope to be there. Not sure how long I'll last in the cold, but will give it a shot!
Hi all,
Apologies for getting this note out so late (and aplolgies also to Dierdre M - we'll do Herbert part in Mar- but I had mentioned this location in Jan and I've just prepared the above notice!): while suffering thru' this generation why not visit the home estate of an earlier generation of our native bankers who treated the bank they managed as a private piggy bank (!): Cabinteely Park, off the Stillorgan-Bray Rd at Cornelscourt. You can see it has alot to offer - cafe on site, good parking, Japanese Gdn, pond, etc. 11.00 for 11.30 start Sat 2/02?
Hope to see you there! - John O Flynn/087 2709097
Hi all, how about having our painting venue this month in 'Herbert Park' Donnybrook? the Herbert Park hotel is in the park and ideal for coffee. The parking is metered however, so maybe some of you may like to car pool. There are nice views ie, The dodder river which flows along the Ballsbridge side of the park. The red brick houses which surround the area.
Hi happy new year to all it was nice being at the botanic gardens on sat, to my disappointment i had to leave early, looking forward to the next event.Marion
Happy New year to all, unfortunately can't make it Sat- have NCT, so fingers crossed!! Happy Painting, Cora
Happy Xmas all!
As has become a bit of a New Year ritual, I suggest we return to the Botanic Gdns next Sat Jan 5th for the First-Sat-Month Paint-Out of 2013. Warm refuge in the cafe and sheltered painting spots in the glass houses make it a safe mid-winter location! 11am in cafe then?
Look forward to catching up with everyone (and any new-comers very welcome)!
Best
JOHN O F
