Event Description

Here's a link to some info on St. Mullins:

http://www.carlowcountymuseum.com/carlow-county/st-mullins2/index.html

St. Mullins is one of the county’s important archaeological sites containing aspects of both religious and secular history. It is very much a place of tradition with both the graveyard and holy well still in use. It is located in the scenic surroundings of the very south of the county with the River Barrow forming the county boundary with the Blackstairs Mountains overlooking it on the east and Mount Brandon on the west.

Another favorite to SEPA members, ..highly recommended.

10.30am- meet in St. Mullins( drive past the old monastry, to the rivers edge  Car park)

11.00 -am start on our morning session

1pm - Break for lunch. Bring your own packed lunch, or Mullichain Cafe is advertised as open..11am-6pm .

2pm - back for the afternoon session

5-5.30pm - wrap up for the evening with a cuppa/pint

Many congrast to the lads on they're sales, and to everyone managing to paint inbetween the showers. A great sense of achievement!! Some photos of the day:

Good luck with that Breda- see you next time.

For anyone thinking of going to St. Mullins on Sunday, the latest news, direct from "pigeon post express", informs us that there will be an angling competition there on Sunday.

This could be great subject matter, ..there is a possibility however, that a trip further up the road to Graiguenamanagh may develop.

So if you arrive late and can't find us..give me a ring so you know where we are. See you soon!!

Very sorry I will not be able to join you this time. It would be such a nice spot.

Looked at the Jeffery Reed video. Love his work and his interview. Anyone who has yet to look in on it. Its 5 stars +
