Come join in the fun and craic this coming saturday in the picturesque village of Slane Co Meath.It boasts of jaw dropping sights like Slane castle, the meandering river Boyne, monasteries, weirs, hills, Gate lodges ,Georgian industrial architecture of the old ( mill seen as you approach slane from the n2 on your right) .The village it self is quaint in its demeanour, and show cases 2 art galleries, a local craft shop, a recently refurbished hotel, and plenty more for the discerning visitor and plein air artist.all welcome.looking forward to seeing you there.

Despite Pat's quibbles (only joking, Pat) you have really waxed lyrical on this one, Dee. I have never seen such a brillant write-up of an Irish town, and can't wait to explore all those lovely promised experiences, that even at this distance, make the heart beat faster.
