Event Description

Join us on Saturday in Clogherhead, Co.Louth's new restaurant, Smuggler's Rest at 11 a.m.

Clogherhead has two beaches, a busy pier with an inner harbour. There is a rocky shoreline which develops into cliffs.

The village has its share of thatched cottages.

And all is looked over by the Cooley Mountains to the North.

To get to Clogherhead from M1:-

1. N.B Exit at Junction 10

2. Follow signs to Drogheda

3. At second traffic light turn left (these lights are very close together).

4 At roundabout go left.

5. Cross the road immediately keeping the thatched cottage on your left.

6. At next traffic light turn left.

You should now be on the road to Clogherhead via Temonfechin. Follow signs to Clogherhead.
