Boyne Valley Paintout Annagassan

Hi All, this week we are painting in Annagassan, Co.Louth.. 

Annagassan is situated on the southern edge of Dundalk Bay, overlooked by the Cooley and Mourne Mountains.  There is a little pier, an old mill and a stone bridge over the River Glyde where it enters the sea.

We meet as usual at 11 a.m. at Glyde Inn for coffee

There will be strict social distancing .   So be prepared and bring your masks.  You may feel more comfortable with a flask and coffee in your car or outside in the wide open spaces of Annagassan.

We will be accommodated “out the back” i.e. in the beer garden overlooking the sea and Mourne Mountains.

to get to Annagassan from M1 – take Exit 15 for Castlebellingham.  When you reach the village of Castlebellingham turn right onto Drogheda road.  Take next left (signpost Clogherhead) R166 and continue to Annagassan.
