Karen Scannell, stateside.
I have no doubt she will post a proper blog on her return but here is an article in the Baltimore Sun mentioning Plein Eire's Karen Scannell at the 'Paint Annapolis' plein air event in Maryland, USA. The article also includes.a few words with Lynn Mehta and David Diaz who have both taken part in Ireland's Art in the Open festival.

Congratulations to Karen Scannell on winning not one but 2 bronze awards in Annapolis - one for her Nocturne and another for her painting in the 'Duelling Brushes' (Quick-Draw) category.
...This is akin to Ray Houghton's goal against Italy in the NY Giants' Stadium.... Lest we forget...
