"Just got the following mail, please contact Derry (email below) if you're interested: 

The reason I am contacting you is in relation to a Feature Film that is possibly going to be shot in Cork City by an American Production Company in June 2012. I am based in Cork, will be working with them on this film and I am searching to find a Landscape Artist that would be interested in possibly getting their Artwork show cased in this Movie. I know you run the drinkndraw art group and so if there are any members you think might be suitable and would be interested in this idea, it would be great just let me know and I will contact them to give them further details. The Art is preferably realistic(ish) Irish landscape Art Work whether acrylic/oil or watercolour, ok.
The message I got from the Director just recently explained that "their paintings would be featured a lot and spoken of in a very positive light. They would receive a full page credit in the end titles. The film would potentially elevate their profile and would hopefully up the value of their paintings..." The paintings will feature in a house where by they act as a reference to an important character (male/deceased). The director, Eoin Kavanagh I've worked with before and is a good guy, originally from cork.
