Hi Claire.
Welcome to Ireland's site for outdoor painters.
You will find some tips about painting en plein air here online but not as much as if you join in with some of the paint-outs on offer. In Dublin there is Dublin Sketchers and Dublin Plein Eire, so you are very lucky. The latter meet on the first Saturday of the month and the Sketchers even more often. You will find them under our Groups tab and they are free to join, like this site.
There is also Art in the Open festival which takes place each August bank holiday weekend.
Anyway, get involved and enjoy your new membership of Plein Eire.
