My name is Bernie Rosage Jr. I'm a self taught artist although I prefer the term "self motivated to be taught" as I work hard to fuel my passion for oil painting. I especially like painting en plein aire and working from life... it feels/fills all the senses for me. Mainly... I love the escape from everyday life that plein air painting allows for me... I get into a zone where I commune with nature... an awesome feeling that I am sure many plein air artists experience. I paint locally with a plein air group I helped organize called OOPS...
