Plein Eire

Your Site For Artists Who Paint Outdoors

This painting was done on our first visit to Ireland. It is down in the sunny south in Ferns Co. Wexford. This is a spot around the corner from the beautiful Clone House where we stayed during the Fleadh Choil where my children took Irish music lessons. I can still feel the magic of this place where right across the street was the ruins of an ancient church. Note: Begun plein air/reworked in the studio.
