Thank you for your comment Steven. The harbour building shapes provide perfect backgrounds for paintings. Mevagissey is also brillant for its background. I'll download a painting of that place.
I love the subtle tones brightened up by the boats' bouys, very atmospheric!
Thanks but as Engish weather always dictates, it was very cold that day. Managed to travel from my hotel on a local bus (experience not for the lighthearted! as the roads are very narrow), painted then popped in the famous Rick Stein's shop. Best time of year to paint is Feb as there were very few visiors in th area.

Thanks for you comment. The best bit about where I was is that you can hide down the slip way (as I do find it nerve racking painting with people watching)- especially when I have no set technique or idea of outcome. Finger less glove are brilliant in keeping warm! Happy Christmas to you.
