Hi Elaine, Yes, I have heard the Landscape in Virginia is very beautiful. I like My Style, the clouds and trees are similarly described, yet feel so different. -J

Elaine - I had to have a good look at your paintings after your nice comments.
I really love this one for many reasons - how to make a painting out of almost nothing, the lovely warms and cools in the sky, the analagous colours in the trees, the soft edges, the sense of depth using colour in the background - really brilliant. Your other paintings show you can paint pretty well anything. Terrific. John

Thank you. It helps me to go back and forth between pastels and oils. For the last couple of years I have been doing more oils than pastels. I am quite involved with local and national equine art organizations, so I divide my painting time between landscapes and horses.
