Plein Eire

Your Site For Artists Who Paint Outdoors

This was painted on a rainy day. I ended up painting under an archway to keep the oils dry! Again fingerless gloves are an asset when painting.

Thank you Michael. I did have to also paint around a fork lift truck who decided to stop and go off on lunch for a while!!  It is like a game of cat and mouse, you end up painting bits that move and sometimes wait for them to return!!

How I relate to you having to paint under an archway! I like the subtle tonal shifts in this, reminiscent of Tom Coates with a dash of Bernard Dunstan!
