Thanks Sally, the lad driving the tractor and baler had just turned 17 and bought the baler himself! I don’t  think he cared about where they landed but he was so proud of those bales :)  And I was glad of a few that weren't in straight lines

These bales are wonderful.  What I love about them is the nonchalant way they are arranged in the field.  it says to me that the priority was to get the straw baled while the weather lasted and he/she will be back soon to bring it in.  Lovely painting.
