Early Morning Light, Trevelez Valley.

This is a large oil on canvas, (81 x 100 cm). Painted in the studio from a pastel painted on location. Seated at the Portichuelo de Castaras, with sounds of goat bells in the valley below me and trees full of small birds around me, I spent a wonderful morning painting until my cold feet and fingers drove me back to the village, (Trevelez), and a mug of hot coffee.
