Thanks Ed, abstracting a reality is all we'll ever do as Robert Anton Wilson used to say, i agree and i see it in yours. Notan and simplification. Deirdre Walshe is great at it.  You've no many idea how many times I repainted the bottom 2 thirds so I wont bother spoiling it now. Cheers Ed.

I enjoyed looking through your gallery Ray—lovely darks in this one and several of your new pieces. This one approaches abstraction —something as landscape painters is always just below the surface of great work.
