This scene was simple but I liked the light reflecting in the puddles

Just lovely mo.
No, not this year, Mo. A lot depends on location for us travelling from here. The only access to France is to Cherbourg and it's at least a couple of hundred miles from there before you feel you're in France unless the weather is better than normal. I think you'd really love AITO. It has become so much an international festival that it's a great opportunity to meet new friends. As an example, I am going back to paint in the Brandenburg region of Germany to paint again this year in May (five of us travelled from Ireland last year after meeting some German friends in 2013 and some of them came again to Wexford last year). To me anyway, things like this are more about making new friends and learning from other artists in an informal situation than winning competitions and selling paintings. I know the Wapping Group trip is something similar and I would love to meet up again, but it is very costly travelling from Ireland,
I think you caught the essence of the scene, Mo. Good to see you posting here. Are you planning to come to "Art in the Open"? Never a better time, given the exchange rate!
